When will I get my order?

All your orders are posted out within 3 days and are sent 2nd class by Royal Mail. If you’d like your order more quickly, just drop us a line and we can work out a solution that meets your needs.

 

Do you take commissions?

We do take commissions for illustrations and have produced work for a number of organizations including People’s History Museum, National Archives, Ordsall Hall, Cooperative Heritage Trust, and Kensington Palace.

Where does the name Clavis & Claustra come from?

Clavis & Claustra is Latin for ‘key and lock’. Ornate antique keys are beautiful, aren’t they? They make you think of secret passages, buried treasure and adventure. But in this case the secrets are stories of pioneering women. And the buried treasures are their incredible lives and achievements. Liberate them and you might be inspired to change the world too. You have the key. It’s your adventure.
